Adults are caught up
in matters of importance
but if you want to know the truth
you must simply
find a child and ask it
because they are not yet fooled
by the supposed reality of the universe
they see things others don't
they notice
they think and they feel
and they understand
adults only notice what you tell them to notice
and they miss the things that are truly
matters of consequence
they let the baobabs grow big
because they failed to notice them
when they were just small
to them it is inevitable
that they will grow
