"Rhetoric does not get you anywhere, because Hitler and Mussolini are just as good at rhetoric. But if you can bring these people down with comedy, they stand no chance." -Mel Brooks

What a Wonderful World
THE BLACKNESS OF MY BLACKNESS
THE BLACKNESS OF MY BLACKNESS
ISNT ACTUALLY WACKNESS
THERE ARE SOME GOOD
TO COMPLEMENT THE BAD
BUT THE BLACKNESS SOMETIMES MAKES ME SAD
AND FIND MYSELF LIVING LIFE A WAY A NEVER HAD
GRABBING, TUGGING AND PULLING ME IN
BUT THE TRUE BLACKNESS IS ABOUT TO BEGIN
BUT THEY SAY THE NIGHT IS DARKEST BEFORE THE DAWN
BEFORE I KNOW IT THE BLACKNESS IS GONE

Ants poem and the song are similar as Louis sings about a wonderful world even through he knows it is not wonderful because of all the racism. Ant talks about AND FIND MYSELF LIVING LIFE A WAY A NEVER HAD and BUT THE BLACKNESS SOMETIMES MAKES ME SAD saying even though he looks all happy and sings that way deep inside he is not because of his color.
